Tom has been involved with real estate for virtually his entire life. As a teen, a family friend would have him help prepare listings for properties during the summer months. After graduating from UC Santa Cruz in 1995, he turned his focus toward real estate. While working as Lead Sales Agent and on-site sales manager of new home projects with a Santa Barbara-based development company, he successfully closed over 100 home sales and developed experience in all aspects of the real estate industry, from property analysis and construction to sales. Tom then returned home to Marin County in 2001 and joined the Mill Valley office of Coldwell Banker. Ever since, he has been devoted to helping clients sell or find their dream home in this incredible locale. 

As a native of Mill Valley, where he currently lives, Tom is uniquely qualified to help those who want to relocate to the area. He has extensive knowledge of all the Marin communities from Sausalito to Novato, including micro-climates and the various pros and cons of different neighborhoods.  He also serves many areas of Sonoma County ranging from Petaluma to coastal properties to vineyards. 

Although able to work in real estate anywhere, he chooses Marin County because of how much he loves the areas overall vibe and amenities.  For him, it offers the best of both worlds.  Quaint towns with a laid-back feel surrounded by outdoor beauty and adventure opportunities, while still being striking distance to the city lifestyle of San Francisco.  Not to mention the proximity to wine country and even Lake Tahoe.  His love of the area and diligence in helping others fall in love with it as well, has given him a reputation for being dedicated, trustworthy and professional. 

When not helping clients find their dream home or matching sellers with excited buyers, Tom spends his time enjoying all the wonderful outdoor options that make Marin County such a special place.  He is an avid nature enthusiast who loves playing golf, mountain biking, hiking nearby trails, gardening and landscape design and following his favorite Bay Area sports teams.  He also enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures as well as scuba diving and skiing when he gets the chance.
